Rune collects information that you provide directly to us, including registration data (name, email), your organization's information, and inventory and sales data you submit for analysis.

We use your information to:

- Communicate system updates and news
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information or business data with third parties, except when necessary for service provision or when required by law.
4. Cookies and Analytics
We use PostHog, an analytics tool, to understand how visitors interact with our site — pages visited, CTA clicks, and form submissions. Collection depends on your consent, requested in the banner shown on your first visit: when you accept, we store a cookie to identify your session; when you decline, no cookie is stored and collection is halted. Data is processed by PostHog Inc., with servers located in the United States; international transfer occurs under the standard clauses set forth in Article 33 of Brazil's LGPD. You may withdraw consent at any time by clearing your browser cookies or by contacting us.

7. WhatsApp Messages and AI Agents
When you interact with Rune via WhatsApp, we process the messages you send in order to generate automated responses through an AI assistant. This channel is optional and initiated by you.
- Data collected: phone number (in E.164 format) and the content of messages sent and received on the channel.
- Purpose: to answer questions about the product, integrations, billing, and features by consulting Rune's knowledge base.
- Sub-processors: Meta Platforms, Inc. (WhatsApp Cloud API) delivers the messages; Sent.dm provides the WhatsApp API integration; Anthropic, PBC supplies the language model that generates the responses; OpenAI, L.L.C. supplies embeddings for semantic search over the knowledge base. All act as data processors under applicable privacy law.
- Retention: conversation history is kept while the usage relationship is active, in order to preserve continuity of support. You may request deletion at any time via the email below.
- Session window: free-form replies are only sent within the 24-hour window after your last message, in compliance with Meta's rules. Outside that window, Rune may only use pre-approved templates.
- Rights: you may withdraw consent for this channel at any time by replying "STOP" to any message, or request access, correction, or deletion of your data via contato@runebi.com.
